A Japalang Update!
Blogger is giving me problem again! Can't seem to upload any pictures through the compose tab, have to add pictures in manually via the edit html tab. I seriously hope they rectify the problem soon soon!
And I can only be bothered to post so 'much' pictures with this long and irritating way.
Anyway, back track to a few weekends ago, Mashimaro and I decided to check out the new Safra Jurong West right smack at Boon Lay Way!
Nothing much there actually, unless you use facilities like the pool, gym or bring your kids to the kids maze! But Jack's Place looks good!
We decided to do something different for a change so we went Kbox! Can you believe that this is our virgin KTV session during our 4 years together? Lol! Anyway we went real damn early at 11am for the klunch, only to be told that they don't have that option.
But we still went ahead and spend a good 3 hours singing! But I think I spent more than half of the time camwhoring instead!

Met my dearest Felita W babe for dinner at Shokudo, together with her sister Felicia and her sister's friend touring Asia for vacation! Envy envy! Not to mention that the super lucky Fel just returned from her holiday in Japan!
And it has been confirmed + chopped + guaranteed that I have very shaky hands!
And my loots from Japan! The Chip & Dale cookies are really yummy and the handphone chain is super duper cute! Thanks a million babe!
It's pre-monday blues again for me! Even as I'm typing this, I'm having a horrible toothache all thanks to my wisdom tooth! Really feel like pulling it out but the process and horrendous pain to follow for days after that is enough to put me off.
Alrightey, have a great week ahead all! Update again! ^^

Forty Six!
Had a simple celebration with Mashimaro on 6th June, our 46th monthversary! One of the rare few times that we managed to celebrate on the actual day itself!
Accompanied fluffy rabbit for this monthly haircut at Novena first!
And self entertaining while waiting. Good thing I had my book with me to keep me occupied. Linwood Barclay's No Time For Goodbye wasn't as great as what I expected though. Prisoner of Birth is one that I would definitely recommend to all book wormies!

Off to Anderson's for sweet treats! Anyway, the staff told us that we could have an additional scoop of icecream for free as part of their GSS deal!

Had dinner at this cosy little cafe, With a Pinch of Salt! I passed by this cafe many times and was super keen to try it because it just seems so cute and cosy!

Food was yummy, to me at least! But Mashimaro didn't enjoy his steak! Introduced this cafe to Evan, and she raved about the highly recommended jumbo chicken leg. Shall try that on our next visit!

And to my dearest fluffy rabbit, I heart you you you lots lots lots!! ^^
Anyway, KC has already announced to the media that they will be cutting 1,600 jobs worldwide. And needless to say, I think contract jobs will be the first on the list. Which means that I have to start updating my resume, stop being so slack, and look for another job again soon!

Mr & Mrs Jason See's Big Day!
Had the honour to be part of the sister gang for my dearest Coke neighbour's wedding!
Met Auntie Chew & Starie Low for dinner the night before, and when I crashed into bed, it was 12 midnight already! Was freaking tired when I woke at 2.30am to start bathing and preparing! But, but, I'm not complaining because it's Huiling big day!
Here's the pretty bride with her dearest Mummy!
The sisters gang with the bride! Linda, Jojo, Chris and Mee! I realized that this is like one of the super few pictures that we took together that day, since I was busy snapping at everyone else!
Needless to say, Jason and his brothers were punctual and came at 5.30am. Off we start with the games! The first one was relatively easy, basically just to down a 1.5 litre of Coke Zero to show support for his wife's portfolio.
Piece of cake for them actually, they were pretty thirsty from the summer heat!
Part 2, Jojo prepared 4 mini tubs of sour, sweet, bitter, spicy drinks. The last one was the killer though, everyone was complaining it was super spicy!
To think that our Chili Queen was still lamenting that the spicy one was not powerful enough!
Part 3 was abit more tricky for Jason! We got a front clasp bra, made one of the brothers wear it, and Jason had to remove it just by using his teeth.
He was like "Huh? Are you girls serious? So paiseh leh!"
Anyway, the guys took a super long time to figure out how to wear a front clasp bra. And when they finally did, they wore it inside out! Lol!
Part 4 was easy for him as well too! Basically, just pass an egg through from one end of his brother's pants and out from the other.
But the whole process was super duper hilarious! And his bro keep asking Jason to be extremely careful!
Chris, our representative negotiating for the angbao! For some reason, our negotiation was cut off suddenly, and we ended up with a very weird figure for the angbao. But guess it's not convenient for me to blog about it here.
After everything ended, had breakfast with the rest of the girlies at Jurong East market since it was still super early!
And when I finally reach Mashimaro's home at 12 noon, I was uber sleepy that I totally concussed and slept through lunch!
To sign off the post, wishing Mr & Mrs Jason See everlasting bliss and a lifetime of love and happiness!

I have nothing to do, and have been doing absolutely nothing for the past hour, and there is still a good 1.5 hours more to go. Urgh!Time really seems to be crawling man. Why can’t 5.30 come faster? I guess I could kill some time by blogging then.
Hmm.. Finally survived 3 days of Tuas! My god, KC’s office is really damn freaking far. I thought Coke’s was already like super duper ulu. But KC’s a good 15 minutes drive IN from Coke. If the lease expires this year, and the management decides to move from Springleaf (my favourite Macdonald’s just downstairs!) to ulu pandan Tuas, I’ll be the first to go! Can’t imagine traveling there every day, and doing the horrible 7am to 4pm hours!
My old Zen died on me a few weeks back, so I’m officially music-less. Shall make use of the current GSS to get a new MP3 soon!
Talking about GSS, it’s time to get some real good shopping done. But then again, like what Ryan always say, I’ve been doing my part to boost the economy and shopping diligently, so GSS and no GSS doesn’t makes any difference. But I just cannot stop myself from shopping and buying even though Mum is constantly complaining about it!
Sweet fluffy rabbit came down from camp to accompany me for lunch today! Had the yummilicious $13 ramen! Still thinking and craving about their super yummy tamago now!
Really yearning for a short getaway. Batam, Bintan? I know this is really stupid, but I wouldn’t mind going Hong Kong AGAIN! Or hopefully Taiwan!
Time check: 4.21pm, 1 hour and 39 minutes more to go. Sigh!

Auntie Chew & Starie Low Chapter 2!Had my monthly meetup with Lydia & Stara! Dinner was at Ikoi Japanese Restaurant at Miramar Hotel because Ms Stara Low was craving for the free flow sashimi despite 3 failed attempts to have dinner there. Lol!
Anyway, this time round, partners were invited because both of us were super keen and dying to see the guy who stole our dearest Auntie Chew's heart!
No pictures of the food since we were damn hungry, but they really had lots of sashimi! But it was still not enough, according to Zhiwei.

Finally, here's Lydia and Mr Zhiwei! Super duper sweet couple right! I'm getting diabetes just by looking at them. Heh! But really, very happy for Lydia! ^^

And the 2 girls forced Zhiwei to sit real front so that their heads would appear very small in the pictures! And he willingly obliged, not that he had a chance not to anyway!

The must have group picture! Stara only remembered that her hubby is on reservist after making reservations for dinner, so that explains her missing other half. Lol! Nevermind, we always have next time!

A little warning first, it's just gonna be endless camwhoring pictures of us in the toilets again!

I know I've said this many times, but I really cannot believe that this Starie Low is already a babelicious mummy of one! Bring Dorothy along with you next time ok? ^^
The rest of the food was pretty average, but everyone agree that the chicken wings really sucks! But I love the chawanmushi! Yummlicious!
And as I'm typing this now, Lydia is already on the plane to UK! Super envious man! I'm just stuck in sunny and super hot SG! But have a good trip babe!
Next month at M Hotel!
I'm super broke now after seeing Dr Loh again on Monday! When the nurse gave me the bill, my sis and I gave out a loud gasp simultaneously. But I'm sure we made damn good and full use of the consultation fee! Counting down 15 more days to pay day? Urgh.
Anyway, that aside, I'm more than determined to find another job now. I shall stop slacking and buck up on my job search more seriously.
And, some people never fail to "amaze" you with what they're doing or thinking. Sigh.
Guess I should turn in early and stop being bothered about people like that. Phew! It's the weekends finally! But OMG Tuas again next week! =(

Of Birthdays And Gatherings!Dinner at Jumbo Seafood at the Riverwalk branch with Mashimaro's poly clique, together with two of their friends from Hong Kong, Rita and Louis!
No doubt food was great, but we were freaking full at the end of the dinner, though it was a course meal for 6 people! We were lucky enough to be given a VIP room, and it has been tested and proven that the staff will attend to you within 10 seconds after pressing their service bell!

Celebrated Zhengling's and Clinton's very belated birthday over dimsum (yes, dimsum again!) at River City restaurant at Excelsior Hotel. The birthday babies, with the yummy Matcha Breadtalk cake courtesy from Michelle!
The birthday babies making a wish! Clinton looks like he's mediatating!
Group shots before we parted! Actually, we felt that the food at River City is much nicer compared to Dragon Gate, though the variety of dim sum is definitely lesser. But the crowd at Dragon Gate is crazy, and you really have to make reservations to secure your seats!
Anyway, I just want to keep complaining and ranting that it's freaking hot each day! I'll can't survive without airconditioning!
And, I just burn a big hole in my pocket after visiting Henry Loh again today. But I have to keep telling myself it's 3 fat months worth of medication!
The weather is really making me super grouchy man! :(
By the way, I'm 2 days late, but Happy 46th Monthversary, my dearest, dearest Mashimaro! ^^

A Family Affair!A quick update! Bee should be well back in Shanghai now already, but managed to meet up over dimsum at Dragongate during her one week stay!
Perhaps the place was fully packed, food quality was abit off standard that day. Plus, service was super slow! But the two cutie pies kept us very well entertained, and of course, catching up with my cousins too!
Pictures overload! It was a challenge taking pictures with the two sweeties though. Yangyang was super squirmish and made all sorts of funny faces at the camera, whereas Juejue just wanna be left alone to walk around the restaurant!
I like this parting shot of us! Everyone was coincidentally in different shades of blue and Juejue was surprisingly cooperative!
And thanks Bee for the treat! ^^
I'm on leave today, waiting for fluffy rabbit to come home soon, soon, soon! It has been an early and busy day, with dearest Huiling babe wedding at 5am! Not that I'm complaining, couldn't feel more than happy for Mr& Mrs Jason See! Wishing them everlasting bliss!
But it's back to work tomorrow! Oh no, Thursday blues! Till then, take care all!

Happy 45th Monthversary Mashimaro!
Celebrated our 45th monthversary at Vivo's White Dog Cafe! Our first time there! Had lobster bisque, Mashimaro had lamb shank and I took the cheesy oven baked rice with seafood.
Felt that the food was average only, nothing much to rave about. Definitely not one on my must-go-again list!

Monthversary aside, I really can't stand the weather these few days. Damn, damn freaking hot man! Hate the sticky sweaty feeling even though I'm just sitting down doing nothing. And it's making my skin feel super irritated. Bummer! I think I can die without air conditioning.
Caught Night At The Museum 2 over the weekend. It was nice, but not as nice as the prequel! Part 1 was funnier I feel.
And being the lazy bumbum, I shall stop blogging now and go hole up in the aircon room. Have a great week ahead all! ^^

Happy 25th Birthday Felita!Had an advance birthday celebration for Fel on Labour Day. Another shioky long weekend!
It has really been ages since we last met! Except for my weekly lunches with Jiemin and occassional meetups/bumping into Fel, think I haven't seen the rest for months!
If only I can have them at my future home next time too! Haha!
Germ & Jiemin had bangers and mash, spaghetti prawn for me, some coffee chicken thingy for Fel, Mashimaro had this super long name chicken and eventually when ZZ reached, he ordered beef cheeks. Nothing much to rave or rant about the main courses though, they were pretty average.

Since I guess the next time we meet would be quite some time later, so we took lots of pictures! Love the reflection of the lights onto the glass because it looks uber Chrismassy!
Desserts, coffee and tea next! The chocolate cake was yummy, guess I prefer their desserts over their mains!
Groupie shots next! Zhizhong looks so lonely in the picture though. Why is Jiemin leaning so far away from him? Lol! And it's back to work again for 5 days straight tomorrow. Can't wait for the next weekend when Mashimaro will finally have more time for me!

Happy Birthday Ms Christina Soh!
Celebrated Chris' birthday a few weeks back at her favourite Japanese restaurant, Tonkichi. She loves fried food, hates steamboats, totally avoids veggies, so Tonkichi was the best choice for her! Been a while since I last saw the girls anyway.
As usual, everyone is late, except for Mrs Jason See!
Happy, happy birthday Chris! Hope you had a memorable birthday celebration with us since we celebrated it waaayyy in advance so that she won't suspect a thing!Group pictures next, but still missing out Linda & Nancy! Next month at HL's wedding!
Ambrose never fail to remind me of Zhizhong, as both of them love making funny faces when taking pictures! Jojo was really cursing and swearing when Ambrose's hand conveniently blocked her face in the second picture!
Jumbo Seafood with Mummy Dearest!
Had lunch with Mummy, Mashimaro, Sis & Bro-in-law at Jumbo Seafood for an early Mother's Day celebration. Chose the branch at Riverside Point for a change.
The decor of the place was pretty nice! Had a classy edge and feel to it, but the restaurant is really very small, and not to mention, super noisy too!
But personally, I still prefer the Jumbo Seafood over at East Coast. Somehow, I feel that their food just taste different and nicer!
Hope Mummy enjoyed herself totally and we should do this more often! Love my Mummy the mostest! ^^
Birthday Celebration @ The Line Shangri-La!
Celebrated Mashimaro's Mummy's birthday over at Shangri-La's The Line buffet! Guess most people would have heard about this age discount promotion thingy going on.
No pictures of food since everyone was busy eating, and it will be super weird for me to keep taking pictures! But personally, nothing much to rant nor rave about.
Food was average, variety was average, in short, everything was just average!
But one thing that we loved was the cotton candy machine! Mashimaro looks so out of place holding on to the cotton candy! Oh, but one thing, the desserts were great!
A complimentary yummy chocolate mousse cake from Shangri-La! Seems like quite a couple of people chose to have their birthday celebration there cause we saw a number of birthday cakes being given out.
A complimentary yummy chocolate mousse cake from Shangri-La! Seems like quite a couple of people chose to have their birthday celebration there cause we saw a number of birthday cakes being given out.Totally random, but look at the super cute paper toys that Jianjian did! Mario & Luigi! The website where he downloaded these paper toys from even had the mushrooms from the Super Mario game!
But if you were to look carefully, the printer ran out of ink while printing Luigi, which explains why his right arm is yellowish green instead!
It's Sunday blues again! And damn, no more holidays to look forward to till August! Have a smooth week ahead everyone!

Weekend Date With Mashimaro!
Another random lovely Saturday date with my favourite fluffy rabbit. Settled for dinner at Central since I was craving for Waraku!
Strolled around the area to digest our round tummies! Maybe it's just me, but the shops in Central seems so unappealing, except for the shoe shop at Level One, and Sticky!
Edwin suggested that it's actually for you to dig your nose shit and stuff them in. In other words, a nose shit storage. Super imaginative huh!
On a sidenote, it was our 45th monthversary yesterday. Fluffy rabbit specially swinged by after work to have dinner with me! Happy 45th monthversary, Mashimaro! ^^

Easter Weekend with Fluffy Rabbit!Backdating my entries again. Spent a greeeaaat Good Friday with Mashimaro! Had lunch with his family and relatives at this Teochew restaurant at Clarke Quay area first to celebrate his grandma's birthday!
I don't really know his relatives well so I just sat in a corner and ate my food quietly. But good thingy was that I had Mashimaro & Jian2 to entertain me!
Headed off to Vivo after lunch and I remembered it was pouring that day! Ultimate shiokness to laze in bed with such thunderstorm! But look at the weather now! :(
Random shopping around while waiting for our movie, finally settled for a hot chocolate cuppa at Gloria's Jeans! Mashimaro's on a quest to search for the yummiest hot choco recently, but he stills prefer the Starbucks one best cause it's not too overly milky!
Pretty pretty coffee art! Btw, the tiramisu's quite yummy too! Abit different from the normal ones though, theirs was more wet. Initially we were still wondering if that was because the cake had been kept for too long. Haha!

Still had hours to kill before our movie and there was nothing much to shop, so out comes the camera! Vivo was packed man, totally killed my desire for shopping. Actually, the male lead is not really that ugly as what was depicted in the show. Mashimaro pretty much enjoyed himself since he lovesss light-hearted comedies. But I kept irritating him after the show by constantly chanting handsome suit, off suit!
My chicken garlic roasted spaghetti was pretty good, but guess that's because I was freaking hungry eating dinner at 11pm! But I felt that the TCC there is a tad too small and very squeezy! And Keppel Bay just looks so pretty at night! Took alot of touristy shots!
And I totally love long weekends! Never understood the importance of weekends till I started working. But sadly, after May 1st, it's gonna be another long wait till the next long weekend in August. Bummer!

My heart nearly skipped a beat when I saw the bill from Dr. Henry Loh this afternoon. Urgh. So much just for 15 minutes? Thankfully it's finally, finally payday tomorrow! The weather these few days just make me uber lazy and so wanna curl up in an air-con room and do absolutely nothing.
Random, though I just met Mashimaro yesterday, I'm missing him badly now! :(

Meetup With Lydia Chew & Stara Low!A short update before I hit the bed. Met Auntie Chew & Starie Low FINALLY last week! The last time we met up was in November last year, during Dorothy's 1st birthday!
Met Stara earlier, while we waited for Auntie Chew to make her way down from Tampines! Dindin at Sushi Tei, one of my favourites!
I really lovvveeeee their ice cream waffle, though it's just vanilia ice cream with chocolate coating! Never fail to order that everytime I go Sushi Tei.
Stara met Limin during lunch that day, and brought along alot of her stocks to show us. The clothes quality are pretty good I must say, waiting for the upcoming collections! Please support Solitaire Boutique!
Got the waitress to take a group picture for us!
But decided we were better off taking self potraits instead! Thou shall not post up the self potraits photos taken by me, because I always end up cutting someone's head off! And they concluded that I got short hands! Lol!
And really super happy for Lydia that she's found her significant other! We can't wait to see who's the one who stole our dearest Auntie Chew's heart!
Before I end of this entry, some randoms thoughts:-
1. The weather is damn freaking hot again today! Missing the weather in HK totally. Really hate the feeling of sweating, rashes, sticky hair and makeup with sweat!
2. I shall try not to eat the Mac $2.50 breakfast so frequent.
3. I shall attempt to put in more effort in my job search. It's really time to find something more concrete and establish my career! That aside, easier said than done.

Diva Joling's 24th Birthday Celebration!Celebrated CAP's birthday on the actual day over the long Easter weekend!
For starters, the yummy bread that had us keep asking for 're-fill'!
Another of the starter, which I seriously have no idea what it is, but it tasted like chips!
Mashimaro liked the rice though, he commented that it tasted like 'steamboat' rice.
The phototaking continued, ZWLW with her dearest laopo!

And that spells the end of Joling's grand 24th birthday celebration! Happy birthday my dearest princess, hope you enjoyed yourself loads loads that night despite being sick! And of course, to be the honoured ones to celebrate your birthday with you for years to come! Stay pretty and superstarish always! ^^
A full 5 days week ahead again, and then it will be the long Labour Day weekend to look forward to! ^^

Finally recontracted! Hello to weekly lunches with Jiemin again! =)• 4/13/2009 09:49:00 PM, Monday, April 13, 2009
Michelle's Birthday Gathering @ Clinton's!
Had a steamboat session at Clinton's place a couple of weeks back. Mashimaro the sleepyhead actually managed to wake up extra early that day to do marketing with Clinton!
Our feast! The soup was yummy, though it got super veggie towards the end.
Group pictures next. Clinton's mum is real friendly and warm! She always make me feel super welcomed. And of course, many thanks to Clinton for loaning us his place!Anyway, going back to work today was really a pain in the ass after the long weekend! But can't complain, I had a great weekend with Mashimaro and my girlies! Pictures another time then!
Caught Handsome Suit at Vivo, and it's real funny! Been a long while since we last caught a movie and I pretty much enjoyed the show. Felt that the plot was something along the line of 200 Pounds Beauty, but ending was different. Tough choice to made though, if I'm in the male lead's shoes, think I can never come to a final decision.
Gotta run now, update with Joling's birthday celebration sooooooon! Tonnes of pictures that I have yet to transfer from my cammie! Have a great weekend all!

It's not easy, but I know I can do it. It might be a better way out eventually. • 4/05/2009 10:47:00 PM, Sunday, April 05, 2009
Gang @ Teo Heng + Waraku! Teoheng-ed again with the girls a couple of weeks back! Their rooms had a fresh coat of pain, no more blue and yellow walls, but cheery orangey coat instead!
The performers: Chiobu, Sessy, Joling and ZWLW. I was seated comfortably in the audience seat with my $888 concert ticket! Lol!
Guess what we were doing whilst waiting for our food to be served?
We were busy folding peacocks from the chopstick case based on their instructions! But final result: No peacocks were produced at all. Haha! Our origami ended up looking like i-can't-describe-what-it-looked-like. Think we'll be better off folding stars!
Finally the food was served! And looking at the pictures now is making me crave for Waraku again! Slurps! The potato chips (fried yam chips actually) was surprisingly tasty.

I definitely had losta fun that day with my girlies! ^^ It's Sunday again, and I'm frigging alert after taking a 3 hours nap this afternoon. But shioky to the max, haven't slept like this for a long, long time!
Typical Monday blues again, but at least the 4 day week ahead will buffer off some sian-ness.
Anyway, totally random, but it's our 44th monthversary tomorrow! Another month of love with my fluffy rabbit! Love you the mostest mostest! ^^

Don't you think the Handsome Suit share an uncanny resemblance to Michelin Man?
